Obituary for Mrs. Marion Naomi Rustvold Rustvold, Marion N. Age 98, of Edina, was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Marion died April 11, 2018. She was born in Sleepy Eye, MN to George and Olga Nielsen on January 20, 1920.

Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sandra; grandson, Mitchell Rustvold. Survived by husband, Robert; sons, Bob Jr. and Keith (Lauren); daughters, Diane and Lori; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Marion left Sleepy Eye after graduating from high school, came to Minneapolis and finished her education at the Minnesota School of Business.

She was employed at Bell Telephone Company when she met and married her husband, Bob, in 1943. Bob was in the Army Air Force and they moved to California. They lived there until his discharge in 1945 and moved back to Minneapolis.

They became members of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in 1952. Marion was an active member of Holly Circle. Bob and Marion traveled to many countries of the world.

She also enjoyed baseball and hockey games to which they had season tickets. She was a wonderful cook and loved to bake. Her greatest joy was entertaining family and friends and spending time with them.

Any memorials preferred to Cathedral of the Pines Camp in care of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church. Funeral service 11AM Monday, April 16 at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Ave S, Mpls, MN 55419. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
