Marion Susan Maier passed away on Nov. 3, 2018 at home in Oklahoma City. Marion was born In Rochester, MN on Oct.

30, 1923 to Joseph and Dorothy Lillie. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1941 and went on to work at the Mayo Clinic. She later moved to St. Louis where she met the love of her life, George Maier.

They married in 1951 and in 1954 had a son, Stuart. The family lived in many cities around the Great Lakes where George was stationed with the USCG. Upon George’s death in 1958, she moved with her son back to St. Louis, working for Rexall, Abko, and finally retiring from the Federal Government in 1989 and moved to Oklahoma City.

She was a loving and dutiful mother and grandmother with a quick wit and a mischievous sense of humor. She was a woman of deep faith in God. Marion is survived by her son, Stuart; his children Jessica, Rachel and Joseph; and her brother, Donald Lillie.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Lillie; and her parents. Services will be held at Smith & Kernke at 10am November 19, 2018.
