Marjorie’s Obituary Marjorie F. Allen, 62-year resident of Farmington, passed away Friday morning, January 25, 2019 at age 95. She was born November 5, 1923, in Highland Park, Michigan, the daughter of George (Corey) and Christine Hart. Marjorie was the loving wife of the late Robert J. Allen; loving mother of Patricia (William) Arthur, the late Robert C Allen, Thomas (Diane) Allen, John (Renee) Allen, Douglas (Sandi) Allen, Theresa (Howard) Wood, Kathleen (Jeffery) Redmon, Joseph (Debbie) Allen, David (Darlene) Allen, and Christine Allen; grandmother of 33; great grandmother of 41 and great great grandmother of 6.

Her lasting gifts of love and devotion had a profound influence on her large family. Her gentle, kind and uplifting spirit touched all who knew her. She loved time with her family above all else.

She was a devout Christian and Catholic who truly lived by Jesus’ word. She practiced unconditional love and her faith was unwavering. Marjorie enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Farmington Garden Club for many years.

She liked to travel and enjoyed the outdoors. She loved to learn, especially through reading and watching documentaries. She also liked building puzzles.

The Allen family will receive guests at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 30th from 2-8pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 31, 11 am (in state 10:30 am) at St Gerald Catholic Church, 21300 Farmington Rd, Farmington, MI. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Red Cross or Northern Pines Assisted Living, 130 Mary Ann St. Grayling, MI 49738 Please keep the Allen family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
