Obituary for Mrs. Marjorie Jean Elvig Elvig, Marjorie “Margie”, age 84 of Minneapolis, formerly of Grand Rapids, went to be with Jesus on June 7, 2018. Margie was a devoted wife and mother, gifted musician, and dedicated servant in ministry in Iowa and northern Minnesota. Preceded in death by husband, Rev.

E. James Elvig; sister, Marilyn Wiedenmann. Survived by five daughters, Nancy (Tom) Ringgenberg, Betsy (Andy) Von Duyke, Susan (Bill) Neumeister, Laurie Elvig (Joe Riley) and Patricia (Michael) Reed; 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. A celebration of Margie’s life will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 14 at Grace Point Church, 2351 Rice Creek Road, New Brighton.
