Marjorie Louise Grafton, age 89 of Toronto (New Somerset) passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, May 07, 2019. She was born August 11,1929 in New Somerset the daughter of the late Wendell and Grace (Brown) Larkin. Marjorie was a lifelong and dedicated member of the New Somerset United Methodist Church where she served on the Pastor, Parish Relations Committee; served as a Gray Lady at the St. Johns Hospital, Steubenville; was a 1947 graduate of the Jefferson Union High School and a graduate of the Steubenville Business College.

After being a homemaker and loving wife and mother for 50 years, she became a caregiver at Just to Say “Hello” companion care services. Besides her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Willis “Wick” Grafton in 2001 whom she married November 29, 1947; brother, Robert Larkin and a sister, Carolyn Ruth Smith. Marjorie is survived by her son, Dr. Paul E.B. (Joyce) Grafton of Palm Desert, CA; daughters, Cynthia (John) Miller of Carrollton, OH, Tamera (Michael) Harris of Orange, CA and Marilee (David) Lewandoski of Toronto (New Somerset); grandchildren, Sean, Zachary, Samuel, Benjamin, Erin, Anica, Nathaniel, Mike, Mykayla, Marjorie and Amber; great-grandchildren, Aric, Alexa, Cole, Gabriel, Naomi, Hunter, Pierson, Bronson and Camryn; and soon to arrive shortly, great-great grandson, Barrett.

Visitation hours for Marjorie will be held from 2 to 8 P.M. Thursday, May 9th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto. A celebration service of Marjorie’s life will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 10th at the New Somerset United Methodist Church with Pastor Frank Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery, County Road 68, Toronto (Sugar Grove).

She was loved by all. Memorial contributions in memory of Marjorie may be made to the New Somerset United Methodist Church.
