Marjorie M. Rucker, age 90, of Englewood, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at Siena Woods. She was born April 1, 1928 in Red Fox, Kentucky and a resident of Dayton the majority of her life. She was a pastry chef at the Masonic Temple, retired cook at Winter’s Bank, and a member of Foster Grandparents.

She was a member of Christian Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Artie Hagans; seven siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Luther (Serena) Rucker of Dayton; brother, Vynard Hagans; sisters, Christine Hagans and Ella Sue Williams; six grandchildren, including special granddaughter, Tonja Rucker; eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held 1 pm Friday, January 11, 2019 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Visitation 10 am at the funeral home until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Interment West Memory Gardens.
