Mark Alan Braden, age 53 of Oneida, TN, departed this life on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville with his loving wife and kids by his side. Born December 10, 1965 in Muncie, IN, he was the son of the late Homer Braden and Norma Hurley. He served six years in the US Army and enjoyed fishing, cookouts, playing card, spending time with his grandbabies, listening to old country music and playing horse shoes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Lon Braden and wife Marriel Irene Braden; brother: Scott Braden; sister: Earlene Sanderson; father and mother-in-law: Bill and Orangie Winchester; sister-in-law: Kimberly Smith; and special friend: Boyd Boles. Mark is survived by his wife of 27. 5 years: Tammy Braden; daughters: Natasha Gambill and husband James of Whitley City, KY, Sarah Byrge and husband Justin of Oneida, son: Donaven Braden of Oneida, TN; grandchildren: Parke Wade Braden, Emma Gambill and Hazel Byrge; sister: Sherry Lane and husband Steven of Maryville, TN; brother: Jack Braden of Cincinnati, OH; brother-in-law: Bill Winchester and wife Gin; sister-in-law: Tina Miller Perry and husband Jesse of Oneida, TN; and many loved nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

His request was to be cremated. In Lieu of Flowers the family request that donations be made to: the Mark Braden Memorial Fund in care of: Jones & Son Funeral Home, 20059 Alberta St., Oneida, TN 37841. Jones & Son Funeral Home is serving the family of Mark Alan Braden.
