Mark’s Obituary Mark Allen Linard, 58, of Uhrichsville, entered his Heavenly Home on Friday, December 21, 2018, surrounded by his family at Mercy Medical Center in Canton, after a long battle with illness. Born February 2, 1960 in Dover, he was a son of the late Joseph William “Bill” and Wanda Louise (Sayre) Linard. After his graduation from Indian Valley North High School in 1978, Mark worked at Sparta Ceramics for a number of years.

Most recently, he had been employed at Summit Racing Equipment until his illness prevented him. He was a longtime active member of Grace United Methodist Church in Uhrichsville where he held various positions including, liturgist, trustee, youth leader, Sunday school teacher, and sound board operator. He was also a past president of Camp Kaphar Holiness Association for over 20 years.

Mark loved to sing gospel music and shared Jesus with everyone, even up until his last day. On February 21, 1981, he married the former Lori Maureen Fisher who survives him along with their children, April Linard, Amber (Randy) Haga, Allen (Julie) Linard, and Aaron (LeAnna) Linard; and grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Lola, Ava, and Gloria. He is also survived by his brothers, William “Bill” and Roger Linard; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Sue and Dennis Curell, Joy Yoder, and Amy and Scotty Grimm; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ellis and Myrtle Sayre and Frank and Mary Linard; parents-in-law, Francis and Mary Fisher; sisters-in-law, Lois and Cathy Linard; and brother-in-law, Vernon Yoder. Services, officiated by Rev. Larry Malterer, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 24, at Grace United Methodist Church.

Interment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church and Camp Kaphar.
