Mark Allen Robertson, 54, of Fishersville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at his home surrounded by his wife and children. He was born on June 26, 1964 in Waynesboro to the late, Grover William Robertson and the late Annie Thomas Robertson. In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his brother, Ronnie Rexrode He served in the Air Force in Minot, North Dakota in the 91st Security Police Squadron which was a part of the 5th Bombardment Wing.

He was a lifelong member of Taylor Hunt Club in Buckingham County, VA, and he was an avid outdoorsman, carpenter and taxidermist. He is survived by his wife, Robin P. Robertson; children, Allen Robertson and wife, Kristina, Nicole Cook and husband, Jay, Samantha Robertson Lokey and husband, Ben, and Hunter Robertson; grandchildren, Emma and Andrew Robertson, Hannah and Haley Cook; sisters, Rita Chirgwin, Linda Silling and husband, Ricky and Melody Clifton and husband, Ray and a sister-in-law, Mary Rexrode; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and his beloved dog, Cricket. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am to 10:45 am on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Christ United Methodist Church, 1512 Churchville Ave.

Staunton, VA 24401, and where a memorial service will be held at 11:00, officiating Rev. Sarah Locke. Mark is being cremated and there will be no burial.

In lieu of flowers Free Will offerings may be made to the Christ United Methodist Church where services are being held. ” The time for crying is over, drink a beer for me”.
