OBITUARY Mark Joel Weitz March 28, 1945 – July 30, 2018 Mark Joel Weitz, age 73, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Monday July 30, 2018. Mark was born March 28, 1945 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mark is survived by his wife, Roberta Weitz; daughter Dawn (Mike Balke) Weitz-Collegeville, PA; and son Craig (Nicci) Weitz-Chicago, Ill.

; sister Marsha (Martin) Rotheim-Morganville, NJ and brother Steven (David Hoffman) -San Francisco, CA); grandson Jake Balke. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 2, 2018 1:00 PM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, NJ 07726. A committal service will occur Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.

The Period of Mourning will be observed at the residence of Martin and Marsha Rotheim as follows: Thursday following the burial, Thursday, Friday until the sabbath and Sunday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mark’s memory may be made to Leukemia-Lymphoma Society; and James Cancer Center c/o Ohio State University.
