Mark Monroe was born July 10, 1956 in Dalhart, TX to R.W. and Billie (Vaught) Monroe. Mark worked as a mechanic all his adult life and retired from Carson Engine.

Mark and Karen (Carter) were married in Dalhart, TX in 1994. Survivors include his wife Karen (Carter) Monroe of Dalhart, TX, One Daughter, Marinda Newkirk and husband David of Vega, TX, One Son, Jeremy Hall and wife Denise of Amarillo, TX. Five grandchildren that he loved dearly, David Newkirk, Austin Newkirk, Kaitlin Newkirk, Jacob Hall and Kailee Hall.

Brother: Larry Monroe and wife Margie of Dumas, TX and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Wadell, brother, Don Monroe and two nieces. SERVICES Memorial Service Friday, February 22, 2019 2:00 PM First Christian Church 602 Denver Ave.
