Mark Nelson Goyette, 61, passed away peacefully on January 30th, 2018, at his home in Scotia, NY. Born June 17th, 1956, in Troy NY, he was the son of the late Nelson and Anne (Kehoe) Goyette. He was a 1974 graduate from Linton High School in Schenectady, NY.

He recently retired from General Electric after dedicating over 40 years of service to the company. Mark was a lifelong Jets fan, who loved watching football. He enjoyed his yearly fishing trips up in the Adirondacks and took great pride in his cooking.

As much as he adored the solitude of his man cave, he also deeply cherished spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Donna Deyoe Goyette; his son, Timothy Goyette (Jessica Goyette); his grandson, Kellen Goyette; his three daughters, Francesca Goyette, Micaela Goyette (Carl Williams), and Alessandra Goyette; his sister, Alice Bochniewicz; and his dear family-friends, The Mazurs. Funeral Services will be held at the discretion of the family at Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home in Scotia, NY.

Donations in his name may be made to the Albany Chapter of National Public Radio (NPR).
