Mark was born in Huntingburg, Indiana, on May 13, 1957, to Marvin and Delores (Garland) Henson. He married Mary Alice Heeke on September 22, 1984, in Jasper, Indiana.

Mark worked in human res at Farbest Foods in Jasper for 15 years. He had a love for drawing and animals. Surviving are his wife, Mary Henson, Dale, IN, step-mother, Margaret Henson, Otwell, IN, one sister, Cathy (Noble) Dearing, Otwell, IN, one brother, Alan (Deloris) Henson, Otwell, IN, one step-brother, Bryan Quackenbush, Otwell, IN nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents. A service for Mark O. Henson will be held at 11:00 a.m . on Friday, January 11, 2019, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, with burial to follow in Otwell Cemetery in Otwell, Indiana.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center. Online condolences may be made at www.
