html. Mark was born in Little Rock, Ark. on Sept.

17, 1952, to John and Doris Plume. He grew up in Dallas and graduated from J.T. White High School. He earned his BBA from UT Arlington in 1973 and was a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity.

Mark was a third-generation employee of the J.C. Penney Company for 43 years, retiring in 2012. Mark seized every moment of his retirement, filling his time with vacations with his wife, Penny, golfing and motorcycle trips with his son and close friends. He joined the BMW Motorcycle Club of Houston and was proud to have served as their president.

He also enjoyed quiet moments at home with his wife and two special cats that adopted him. He was preceded in death by his father, John. Survivors: Wife, Penny; mother, Doris Plume; daughters, Melissa Lawrence (Colby) and Alison Weaver (Brent); son, Preston Plume; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Colby, Alyssa, and Carson; great-grandson, Isaac; and sisters, Janet Plume and Susan Enk (Bob).
