Mark Thomas Hawkins Age 65, of Penn Hills, died Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Woodhaven Care Center in Monroeville. Beloved husband of 29 years to Karen E. (Houck) Hawkins; father of Nova R. L. Hawkins; son of Charles T. and Jane M. (Kim) Hawkins; brother to Phillip J. Hawkins, J. Chris Barido (Hawkins) and Paul H. Hawkins. He was preceded in death by his brother, David C. Hawkins.

Born on June 7, 1953, Mark was a graduate of St. Bartholomew School in Penn Hills (class of 1967), Penn Hills High School (class of 1971), and St. Vincent College in Latrobe (class of 1975). For most of his adult life Mark worked in sales, which fit his outgoing personality and keen sense of humor. He also retained lifelong interests in history, antiques, musical instruments, and dogs.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 9, 2019, 10 AM, at St. Joseph Church, 825 Second Street, Verona, PA 15147. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Humane Animal Rescue, 6926 Hamilton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15208. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Mark T.
