Marlene was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 17, 1938, a daughter of the late Peter and Aurelia (Kwiatkowski) Dowgialo.

She had lived in Clinton Twp. until 1968 moving to Sterling Hts. Marlene worked for COR-SORCE of Sterling Hts.

for many years as an associate medical administrator until recently when her health forced retirement. Marlene enjoyed working in her flower garden, was a very loving and outgoing person who was committed to a quality life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Marlene is survived by her loving children, Stephan (Jeremy), Karen (Christopher) Ekerie and Thomas (Kelley); her grandchildren, David and Derek and 2 great grandchildren, she is also survived by her brother, Joseph Dowgialo. She was preceded in death by her grandchild Daniel. Visitation will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd.
