Marlon Sheppard, Sr. was born October 19, 1054 to Arthur Lee Sheppard, Sr. and Canary Arnold Sheppard in Benton, Louisiana. After graduating from South High School, Marlon served in the United States Air Force. He loved his family and enjoyed working on cars.

On Sunday, July 8, 2018, at the age of 63, Marlon passed away while at home in his Columbus, Ohio residence. Edwards; mother Canary Arnold Sheppard Martin; brothers, Arthur Lee (Charla) Sheppard, Edward Charles Sheppard, Jeffrey (Kyla) Sheppard, Gregory (Michelle) Sheppard, and Randall Sheppard (Dee Dee); sisters, Janice (Kenneth) White, Edith (Wayne) Jones, Linda Dent, Lee Anne Sheppard, and Crystal Sheppard; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
