M. Val “Tiny” Eccles, 74, passed away on March 3, 2019 in St. George, UT. Val was born on April 28, 1944 in Ogden, UT to John David Eccles and Shirley Scoville. He married Valarie Wheeler on September 17, 1963 in Elko, NV.

Val was a very friendly man who made friends with everyone he met. He had a great sense of humor and a big heart, and loved being around people. He owned several businesses during his life, such as a private club and bar in Utah, sold Yamaha motorcycles, and dabbled in the real estate business.

He loved to golf, and enjoyed being outdoors. He liked to go hunting, shooting trap, boating, and even liked fishing, although he never caught anything. He liked going out with his buddies to the local bar and drinking with them.

He loved being surrounded by his “girls”, and his daughters and granddaughters thought the world of him. He was so happy when his great-grandson was born, that he had his boy. Val is survived by his wife; Valarie Eccles, his daughters; Capriece (Todd) Hoskins and Denise (Dee) Sagel, his four granddaughters, his great-grandson, his two brothers, and his sister.

Val is preceded in death by his parents and one brother. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their Guest Book at www.
