OBITUARY Marsha Bowen (Nielson/Nordgran) December 12, 1952 – November 3, 2018 Taylorsville – Our beloved partner, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Marsha Bowen passed away peacefully on November 3, 2018, after a long battle with cancer. She was born on December 12, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Norma Burt Bowen and Lawrence Loveland Bowen. She graduated from Cyprus High School in 1971.

Marsha retired from WMI Mutual Insurance Company in 2017. She loved her family, friends, and two dogs. She loved to read, travel, shop, and had a smile that lit up our hearts.

She is survived by her partner Jose (Joe) Lopez, daughter Jessica Nielson, son Lance Nielson, grandchildren Tatum and Mason Nielson, and siblings Brent (Rolayne) Bowen, Vicky (Delyn) Yeates, and Shelly (Jackie) Bowen. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Darlene Foutz, and brother-in-law Gary Foutz. Special thanks to her long-time friends and neighbors Jolene and Jim Dearden, and Ray and Karen Evans, who were always there for her.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Thursday November 8 at the LDS Chapel, 2030 W. Chateau Ave. , Taylorsville. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 prior to the funeral.

Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
