Martha Alice “Marcie” Moore, a St. Petersburg native, was born on April 30, 1931 and passed on April 9, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Charles H. Moore, and daughter, Kimberly Moore Wolfe. She leaves behind her daughter, Holli Moore Harris, son-in-law Allen Harris, grandson AJ Harris, son Charles G. Moore (“Chuck”), daughter-in-law Glory Moore, granddaughter Katie Wolfe and three greatgrandchildren – Corey, Kimberly and Ava Marie.

Marcie attended St. Petersburg High where she graduated with the class of 1949 and then went off to attend the University of Cincinnati, Conservatory of Music. She loved gardening, was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling the world, and continued to play her piano throughout her life. She was an active member of the Kiwanis Club of St. Petersburg, and also supported such non-profits as The Florida Aquarium and Tampa Bay Watch.

Her friends always described her as kind-hearted, loving, sweet, amazing person… a true southern lady. She will be remembered through a celebration of life on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 4:00 pm. The service will be held at Pasadena Community Church, Goodwin Chapel, 227 – 70th Street South, St. Petersburg, FL 33707.
