OBITUARY Martha Belle Beck June 17, 1926 – January 19, 2019 Born on June 18, 1926 and passed away on January 19, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, and husband. She was born and raised in Bentonville, Arkansas.

She moved to Dallas with some girlfriends and worked at Republic National Bank which is now Bank of America. She married Arlie Beck, Jr. on July 10, 1951, and they were married two months shy of 60 years. Upon starting a family, she quit working in 1955 and didn’t re-enter the work force until the 1980’s.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church for many years and was involved in UMW and Sunday School. She attended until she was no longer able to drive. She is survived by daughter Karen Laxson (Jim), son Paul Beck (Kathy), and former daughter-in-law, Cindy Beck.

Grandchildren include Lawrence Beck (Katie), Jennifer Beck, James Laxson (Amanda), and Megan Sharick. She has one great-granddaughter, Aubrey Laxson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 2 at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity in memory of Martha Belle Beck.
