Martha L. O’Brien May 16, 1946 – January 24, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Martha L. O’Brien (Rooker) It is with great sadness that the family of Martha L. O’Brien (Rooker) announces her passing peacefully on January 24th, 2019 at the age of 72. A native to Sylvania, GA, resided in Appleton, Wisconsin. Martha will be lovingly remembered by her surviving 5 daughters, Marsha Brown (Gordon) of Clyo, GA, Daisy Kenny of Richmond Hill, GA, Christy Crowe (Mark) of Appleton, WI, Patsy Vashey (Thomas) of Richmond Hill, GA, and Viola Rivenbark (Reginald) of Sylvania, GA; Martha will also be missed by her 10 grandchildren and her 17 great-grandchildren; her brother, Robert Rooker, Jr. of South Carolina; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Doubleheads Baptist Church Cemetery in Sylvania, GA. Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel.
