Mrs. Martha R. Flanigan, 80 formerly of S. Washington St., Lincolnton entered into rest on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Flanigan, daughter of the late Henry and Mabel Callaway Rice, was a native of Wilkes County and had lived in Lincolnton most of her life.

She was a seamstress and had worked at Oxford Manufacturing and then retired from FDB. Also, she was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church. Her husband, Robert L. “Bobby” Flanigan and infant daughter Bobbie Maria Flanigan, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter Judy F. Cunningham and husband Bob of Lincolnton; sister Henrietta Lunceford of Washington; sister-in-law Ann Flanigan of Lincolnton; grandchildren Jourdan Taylor and husband Ryan, and Anna Rose Cunningham; great- grandchildren Dylan Taylor and Okelin Taylor; niece Melinda F. Cartledge and nephew Michael Lunceford. The family would like to thank the employees of Pruitt Health Care and Wills Memorial Hospital for their care of Mrs. Flanigan. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6pm until 8pm at Beggs Funeral Home, 200 may Ave.

, Lincolnton, Ga.
