Martha Rose Anderson, 80, of Manteno, passed away Monday (March 11, 2019) at Riverside Hospital in Kankakee. She was born September 12, 1938, in Rosedale, Indiana, the daughter of Alonzo and Georgia (Hartley) Jones. Martha married Jack Anderson December 26, 1958 in Hillsdale, IN.

She worked as a purchasing agent for AWC in Joliet. Martha was a Cubs fan and enjoyed cooking and gardening. Surviving are her sons and daughter in law, Tim & Caryn Anderson of Homewood; Stephen and Ruth Anderson of Louisville, Tennessee.

Her daughter and son in law Kory and Rich Mahler of Manteno; sister, Marsha Jones; and a brother Arthur Jones. Grandchildren, Emma, Cora, Grace Anderson; Katie (Nate) Hoffman; Bridget Devitt, Patrick Anderson, Charlotte (Cody) Moat; Stephanie Mahler. Greatgrandchildren, Collin Hoffman; Rator Hoffman; Henry Hoffman; Jett Hoffman; Addison Devitt; Riley Baugh; Payton Baugh; Harper Coker; Cody Jr. Moat; Claire Moat.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; grandchild Nicholas Anderson and brother Randall Jones. Funeral service held Thursday, March 14 at Elmwood Cemetery at 11am. Brown-Jensen Funeral Home in Manteno is handling the arrangements.
