LEAHY, Martha J. (nee Richey), age 85, of Centerville, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018. Martha was born on February 16, 1933 to the late Howard and Virginia (Walsh) Richey, in Midland, KY. She graduated from Kiser High School in 1950, and went on to earn her cosmetology license.

Martha was an expert hairdresser, and had her own beauty salon business in Belmont for many years. She is preceded in death by her son, Gary Burns; granddaughter, Laura Adams; and Brothers-in-law, Jim Gift and Bruce Susong. Martha is survived by her loving husband of 34 years David Leahy; son, Mark (Karen) Burns; stepson David Leahy Jr; stepdaughter, Michelle (Doug) Roush; grandchildren, Mariah Roush, Vail (Laena) Burns, Mindy Burns, and J. Spencer (Cristie) Adams; great-grandchildren, Ikaika Burns, Dane Burns, Spencer T. Adams, and Kayci Adams; sisters, Mary Gift and Linda Susong; and numerous extended family and friends.

Martha loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all. Martha’s family will receive guests from 2-4pm on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd, Kettering, with a service to follow. Private inurnment at Woodland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kiser High School Alumni Association, INC.
