Rodriguez was called home to be with our Lord on February 12, 2019 at the age of 81. He is preceded in death by his parents; Fulgencio and Ines Salas Rodriguez, two sons; Martin Rodriguez Jr., Johnny Rodriguez, three brothers; Eugene Rodriguez, Domingo Rodriguez, Cipriano Rodriguez and one sister Florence Lopez. He is survived by his wife Florinda Rodriguez, daughters; Margaret R. Ogden, Diana Sauceda (Pablo), Inez Esquivel (Edward), Clara Rodriguez, Mary Helen Salazar, sons; Raymond Machado (Cindy), Michael Machado (Lorraine Spencer), Richard Rodriguez (Letty), Roy Rodriguez (Ruby), brothers Pasqual Rodriguez, Ruben Rodriguez (Avelia), sisters; Felis Garcia (Albert), Frances Fernandez (Rudy), Gloria Davila, 32 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren other relatives and many dear friends.

Martin served our county by joining the United States Army. Martin was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 3:30-8:30PM at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church located at 274 Avenue H in Poteet, Texas 78065 with a rosary to be recited at 7:00PM.

On Wednesday, February 20, 2019 visitation will be held at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church from 8:00AM. to 9:45AM. with a mass to be held at 10:00AM interment will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery where military honors will be rendered.

Services are under the direction of San Antonio Mortuary.
