Marty Kautzman, 53, Center, passed away October 22, 2018, at his home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Center Community Cemetery, Center, ND. Marty was born September 15, 1965, the son of Raymond Kautzman and Wanda Ganten.

He attended Center Public Schools. Marty served in the US Army. Following his discharge, he worked many jobs in numerous states.

Upon returning home to Center, he joined the Carpenters Union where he worked for several years. The last years of his life he worked with his brother, Richard, doing cement work. Marty was a kind and gentle man who loved his family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Those who will greatly miss him include his step-mother, Jean Kautzman, Center; sister, Linda (Rick) Jansen, Detroit Lakes, MN; brothers, Jerry (Sarina) Kautzman, Antioch, CA and Rory (Peggy) Ganten, Gillette, WY; nieces and nephews, Jamie (Brac) Mettler, Jyler Isaak, Dustin Kautzman, Shane (Karissa) Kautzman, Kassidy Kautzman, Willow Ganten, Dylan Ganten, Cory Kautzman, and Breanne Kautzman; numerous great-nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Burt Isaak; sister-in-law, Jody Gappert; uncle, Robert (Karen) Boger, Jacksonville, FL; and his extended family, Deb Koster and bro’s Richard, Henry, and Robin Robillard and their families. Marty was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Kautzman; his mother, Wanda Ganten; step-father, Raymond Ganten; brothers, Tracy, Terry, and Tim Kautzman; and grandparents, Art and Mary Werre and Otto and Ella Kautzman.
