Interment will be held in Pinehill Cemetery, Olla, Louisiana. Mrs. Murphrey, age 82, of Dry Prong, entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She is survived by one daughter, Denise Cox of Dry Prong; one granddaughter, Christi Howze (Bobby) of West Monroe; one sister, Junita Pitre (Blake) of Houma.
