Mary “Alice” Merrin 82, born in Toronto, Ohio on November 10, 1935 passed away at Aultman Hospital on Monday, September 24, 2018. She loved playing bingo, cards, and also enjoyed working in the yard. She was the daughter of Joseph Grafton Elson and Mary Agnes Milewsky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Merrin. Alice is survived by a younger brother, Tom Elson of Strongsville, Ohio and 4 children; Cheryl Jean (John) Davidson of Jewett, Ohio, “Buddy” Edward G. (Flora) Merrin of Richmond, Ohio, Tammy S. (Darin) Miller of Carrollton, Ohio, and John A. Merrin of Guilford Lake, Ohio. Alice is also survived by six grandchildren, Courtney, Olivia, and Helene Merrin, and Arin, Mason and Darick Miller.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday September 26, from 6-8 P.M. at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz, Ohio. Services will be held on Thursday, September 27 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Bergholz Cemetery.
