Mary Ann Sorensen, 73, passed away in Memphis, TN on January 23, 2019. “Mrs. Ann” was retired from the VA Medical center after taking care of many of our veterans for many years. She enjoyed going on cruises with her husband, Joe and their best friends, Steven and Sherri.

She loved dolphins, angels, her children, their special dog Sheba, and the beach, she was an avid reader; also Mrs. Ann “Mimi” was the QVC “Queen”. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Joseph Edward Sorensen of Memphis, TN, a daughter Anna Marie Sorensen of Memphis, TN, her son Joseph Michael Sorensen (Tanya Lee Hathaway) of Oakland, TN , 2 brothers John William Cothern of Brentwood, TN and Henry Burt Cothern of Walls, Ms. Mrs. Ann was also blessed with 2 grandchildren, Meagan Nicolle Manning and Taylor Alyssa Sorensen and one great grand child Joseph Timothy Manning. Visitation with her family will be on Monday, January 28, 2019, 5:00-7:00 pm with her service on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, 10:00 am at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East 901-382-1000.
