Mary Anne Quinn Warrenton, GA – Mrs. Mary Anne Quinn, 82, of S. Whitehead Street entered into rest November 06, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Quinn grew up in the Raytown Community of Taliaferro County and was the daughter of the late Carl Elmo Bacon and the late Kathleen Mulkey Bacon. She graduated from A. H. Stephens School in Crawfordville.

Mrs. Quinn taught Pre- Kindergarten at Briarwood Academy for many years and later worked as a ticket agent at the Wilkes County Stockyard. She lived most of her life in Norwood, GA on the Quinn Family Farm and during that time she was a faithful and devoted member of Norwood Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. Mrs. Quinn loved spending the first week in June each year with her family at Fountain Campground.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Warrenton. Mrs. Quinn’s greatest love was for her grandchildren that she followed to every school event and especially enjoyed attending their ballgames. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Quinn was predeceased by her husband, Robert Harris “Bobby” Quinn; a son, Robert Harris Quinn, Jr.; and sister, Betty B. Garbutt.

Survivors include her son, Grant Bacon Quinn of Warrenton, GA; daughter, Kim Quinn Mohr and husband, Chris of Thomson; brother, Edmund Bacon and wife, Janie of Junction City, GA; sister, Linda B. Scott of Rayle, GA and grandchildren, Garrett Mohr and wife, Audra, Harrison Mohr, Quinn Mohr, and Chapman Mohr. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Memorial Service at 2 p.m., Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Fountain Campground Tabernacle, 7853 Washington Rd. , Warrenton, GA with Rev.

Tommy Harwell, Rev. Donny Bazal and Rev. Brandon Furr officiating.

A private interment will follow at the Williams Creek Baptist Cemetery. It is the family’s request that memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, Warrenton or to Fountain Campground. Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd.
