Obituary for Mary Ann Irwin (Nachtman) Mary Ann Irwin, 86, Antis Township died Sunday morning March 24, 2019 at her home. She was born February 5, 1933 in Altoona, daughter of the late Franz and Mary (Kapfhammer) Nachtman. On November 21, 1950, she married Harry T. Irwin in Cumberland, Md.

Surviving are her husband; a son, Harry L. (Tina) of Antis Township; a granddaughter, Stacy J. (Josh) Decker of N. Huntington; and a brother, Frank (Bansy) Nachtman of Duncansville. She was preceded in death by grandson, Keith Irwin. She was a life member of the Bavarian Aide Society, Altoona and a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Bellwood.

Mary Ann and her husband enjoyed traveling, they visited all 48 states, including all of the National Parks. She also enjoyed cooking, vegetable gardening and visiting casinos. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or services.

The family suggests that contributions in Mary Ann’s memory be made to Grane Hospice Care, Altoona.
