Obituary for Mary Augusta Nauman Augusta was born the daughter of Davney Alan Arnold and Maggie Alice Nesbitt Arnold on August 30, 1922, in Rosedale, Oklahoma, where she was a member of the Rosedale Baptist Church. She grew up and was schooled in Rosedale. She married her first husband, Murvin Russell Williamson, there in 1938.

They moved to California where their Daughter, Alice Kaye, was born, then to Oregon in 1941. During the war years, Augusta worked in Portland shipyards as a welder, building ships for the war effort. She and Murvin divorced in 1943.

After the war, in 1946, she married Otto Arthur Nauman. They made their home in Newberg where she worked at the float plant, Hutts bakery & then in Sherwood at the battery factory. She also worked many years at food processing plants around the greater Newberg area, retiring in 1990.

On Friday, April 27, 2018 Augusta died at home of her daughter and son in law in Sumner, WA, where she had made her home for the past 10 years. She was 95 years, 6 months and 27 days of age. Surviving and left to honor her life are: Her daughter, Alice Kaye Renne, son in law, Roger A. Renne and step daughter, Evelyn L. Hall.

Grandchildren, David R. Renne & wife Nancy, April Renne Daniels & husband Todd, and Jason P. Renne. Great grandchildren, Alyssa M. Daniels, Dalton Renne Daniels, Brianna N. Renne, and those who have come to know and appreciate her where she has lived and worked. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto in 1991, her mother, Alice in 1948 and her father, Davney in 1960.

Her memorial Service will be Friday, June 8th at 1 PM in Attrell’s Newberg Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter. Online condolences may be made at www.
