Obituary for Mary Brugman Mary Margaret Brugman, 71, died peacefully May 7 in Safford, with her son at her side. Mary was born in 1947 in West Liberty, Iowa. Mary graduated from high school from St. Mary’s Academy in Nauvoo, Ill.

, and then earned her certification as a licensed practical nurse at Cochise Community College in Arizona. For most of her life, she worked as a caregiver, providing comfort and hope for many. Mary will be fondly remembered for her outgoing personality and upbeat attitude.

Mary is survived by: her son, Mike Renovato (Rhonda); mother, Donna Brugman; brother, Joe Brugman (Carol); grandchildren, Anthony, Aaron, Kailie and McKenzie Renovato; and nieces and nephews, Neal, Sean, Aaron, Lane, Brian, Rachel and Carly Brugman. Mary is preceded in death by: her son, Bobby Renovato; father, Jim Brugman; and brother, John Brugman (Susan). A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be celebrated Friday, May 11, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church by Rev.

Robert Rodriguez. Committal will follow in the Safford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Mary’s memory be made to SEACUS (South Eastern Arizona Community Unique Services) at seacus.org.
