Mary Catherine “Kay” Zaleski passed away peacefully at Ashby Ponds on May 12, 2019. Kay grew up in Glassport, Pa. and was the high school sweetheart & devoted wife of Carl for 60 years.

She was a wonderful mother to Laura (Richard Klein) and Michael (Cyndie) and the beloved “Munya” to John Henry, William, Allison, Catherine, & Madelyn. She adored her one sister, Deanna Dean, and leaves behind many nieces, nephews, & cousins. Kay & Carl lived in Falls Church for many years & were long time parishioners of Our Lady of Good Council church in Vienna, Va.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 5:30pm-8pm, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle SE, Leesburg, Va. 20175. A Roman Catholic mass will be held Friday, May 17, 11:00 am at St. Theresa’s 21370 St Theresa Lane, Ashburn, Va.

20147. After mass, friends & family are welcome to a reception at Ashby Ponds banquet hall. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to Ashby Ponds Benevolent Care Fund at 21170 Ashby Ponds Blvd.
