Life Story for Mary Catherine Cypher Mary Catherine Cypher, 89 of Hemet, California passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018. She was born on Tuesday, July 17, 1928 in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania to the late Victor and Pearl Bailey. Mary is survived by two children, Victoria Johnson, with her husband Glenn, and Michael Cypher, with his wife Kathleen; her daughter-in-law, Cindy Cypher; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and one brother, Larry Bailey.

Mary was preceded in death in 2011 by her beloved husband of 61 years, Charles L. Cypher; and was preceded by two sons, Chuck and Jerry Cypher. Mary was an extraordinarily caring woman. In addition to being a Registered Nurse for 50 years, Mary was passionate about caring for her family and friends.

She cared for everyone. Besides going to the casino for some fun once in a while, Mary’s favorite activity in life was to have her family together. Whether it was for a special occasion, or just because.

Mary’s passion in life was for people. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing her. A committal service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 10am at Riverside National Cemetery where Mary will be laid to rest with her beloved Charles.
