Mary’s Obituary Mary “Cathy” Catherine Kouse of Waverly, Ohio passed away unexpectedly from this life on Friday January 18, 2019 surrounded by her daughter and close friends. Cathy was born on April 6, 1955 in Springfield, OH to the late Evans “Kenny” Looney and Dorothy Clifford Looney. She was a graduate of Northeastern High School in Springfield, OH and the Clark County JVS where she took High Skilled Stenography On September 7, 1973 she married the love of her life the late James “Jim” Kouse.

They were married 33 wonderful years before his death and were the parents of one daughter. Cathy was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, sister Becky Holman, and sister in law Nancy Lawrence. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Kouse of Chillicothe, Sister-in-law Carole Pascoe of Waverly, Brother-in-law Tim (Terri) Holman of Springfield, Ohio and Uncle Ted Clifford of Springfield, Ohio.

Nieces and Nephews Nikki (Chris) Gordon of Sumter, NC, Jennifer Holman of Burbank, CA, Michelle (Akoni) Hinojosa of Springfield, OH, Charlotte (Doug) Healy of Purcellville, VA, Cheryl (Joe) Lavalley of Dedham MA, Carrie Pascoe and Bryan Loughery of Woodbridge, VA, Bob (Sharon) Trinkle of Portage, MI, and John (CJ) Pascoe of Manassas, VA. Great nieces and nephews Maddie Healy, Mason Lavalley, T.C. Gordon, Kekoa Hinojosa and Baby Hinojosa (Due in June). She is also survived by many other cousins and friends.

Special friends Cindy (David) Long, Chrissie Long, Becky Doyle, Stephanie (Nate) Scott, and Brian, Melissa, Adie, and Mira Paulus. Arrangements are under the direction of Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly, OH. A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
