Mary Charnok January 26, 1936 – May 05, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Mary (Hreha) Charnok, 83 of Monongahela, (Carroll Twp. ) died Sunday, May 5, 2019 in Arden Courts of Jefferson Hills. Born January 26, 1936, Mary was the daughter of John and Anna (Kurmisky) Hreha.

A 1953 graduate of Ellsworth High School, Mary worked for many years at the former G.C. Murphy Co. and Cox’s Ladies Apparel in Charleroi. A member of St. Damien of Molokai Parish in Monongahela. With her late husband Victor, she was also very involved with the Mon-Valley Leathernecks Toys for Tots and loved Polka Dancing with friends.

Surviving are a son Gregory P. Charnok of Washington; a sister of Pauline Ferhiens of Pittsburgh; along with several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband Victor P. Charnok who died May 20, 2006 and a sister Helen Cunningham. Inurnment will be held at a later date in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.

The Marshall Marra Funeral Home, 216 Chess St. Monongahela, 724-258-6767 was in charge of the arrangements. .
