Mary D. “Queenie” Jose, 84, Brockway, PA, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019, at Penn Highlands Healthcare in DuBois after a short illness. She was born May 29, 1934, in DuBois. She married Robert E. Jose, he preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter Brenda Jose and a son Donald “Inky” Jose both of Brockway, a sister Ginger Royer of DuBois, a brother Raymond (Cindy) Carnahan of DuBois and two grandchildren. Mary retired from Brockway Glass. She was a member of St. Tobias Catholic Church.

She loved to go shopping to support the Goodwill Stores, her cats, and weekly hair dressing appointments every Friday. Past member of SOI Club, VFW, and Orient Club of Brockway, Horton Twp. Sportsmen’s and an Auxiliary member of the VFW in DuBois.

In addition to her husband, Mary is also preceded in death by her mother Margaret Gruzinski, a son Robert Jose, jr. , and a brother Joseph Carnahan. Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, from 10am until 12 noon at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois.
