Mary was deeply saddened when she had to retire due to health issues. After her retirement, no matter where she went, (doctor’s office, shopping, restaurants, Atlantic City…etc. ) Mary was thrilled when people would walk up to her and ask, “Where do I know you from?

” She would smile and reply, “Freddie’s! ” Mary especially loved preparing holiday dinners for her family. She lived for having her family together.

Her greatest loves were her four grandchildren; Michael DeFrancesco, Madison DeFrancesco, Juliana DeFrancesco and Jace DeFrancesco. They brought her unending joy and she loved being in their presence. In her early years, Mary served as a committee woman for Ewing Township Municipality, President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the West Trenton Fire House, member of our Lady of Good Counsel Altar Rosary Society, and President of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Ewing little leagues and Babe Ruth league.

Daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Carrozza Muscente, sister of late Nicole Muscente, Pasquale Muscente, Edith DeFrancesco, Louis Muscente, Jennie Ferri, Frances Ferri and Nicholas Muscente, Mary is survived by her four children and their spouses, Daniel and Lynda DeFrancesco, Richard and Elaine DeFrancesco, Donna and David Collins, and MaryAnn DeFrancesco. She was the proud Nana of Michael, Madison, Juliana, and Jace DeFrancesco; her sister, Philomena Muscente and sister-in-law, Maria Muscente. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
