Obituary for Mary Dyches Horne Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, January 2, 2019, Mrs. Mary Eleise Dyches Horne, 84, loving wife to the late Irby Walter Horne, Sr Mrs. Horne was a native of Bamberg, SC, but has lived in Augusta for many years. Following her retirement from Murray Biscuit Company, she cared for her husband, Irby, and also managed Affordable Self Storage.

In her spare time, she was a loyal Atlanta Braves fan. Mrs. Horne was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Family members include her children: Marie Miles and husband David, Grace Beck and husband Stanley, Sam Adams and wife Debbie, John Adams and wife Diane; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, George Walter Horne and ten siblings. Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607. The service will be private.
