OBITUARY Mary E. Colson January 13, 1922 – December 19, 2018 Mary Evelyn Colson, 96, of North Charleston, widow of William S. Colson, entered into eternal rest on December 19, 2018. She was born January 13, 1922 in Colbert Georgia, a daughter of the late Ralph D. Edwards and Mattie McCurley Edwards. She enjoyed eating and spending time with her family, children and grandchildren, and always took care of everyone else.

She was a wonderful caregiver. Mary was active in her children’s schools and achieved Lifetime Membership in the State Congress of Parent Teacher Associations. Surviving are her sons, James R. (Pat) Googe, Stuart (Linda) Colson, John (Daudie) Colson, Tim (Debbie) Colson, and Mark (Pam) Colson, eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

The relatives and friends of Mary Colson are invited to attend her funeral services on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 3:00 pm, with a visitation being held prior to the funeral from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston. Burial will follow services in Carolina Memorial Park.
