Mary Ellen Roberts, age 82, passed away peacefully at South Lincoln Nursing Center in Kemmerer, Wyoming on May 7, 2019. She was born on June 13, 1936 in Lima, Montana, the daughter of Earl Raymond and Dorothy Anna (Duck) Peterson. She married Harold L. Weeks and later divorced.

Together, they had three daughters, Becky (Mike) McCarty, Deby (Dave) Coombs, and Mickey (Fred) Campbell. She married the love of her life, James Roberts in June of 1983. She spent the remainder of her life in Kemmerer, WY.

She is survived by her step sons and spouses, her three daughters and their husbands, seven grandchildren and their spouses, six great grandchildren, one sister, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, her husband, and two grandsons. Mary is also lovingly preceded in death by her constant canine companion, George.

Mary loved to go riding in the hills, gathering firewood, reading, crocheting, and doing crossword puzzles. She enjoyed being with her family. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ball Family Chapel.

A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Her family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to Lori Roberts, The Nursing Staff and CNA’s at South Lincoln Nursing Center, Dr. Seiler, and the dietary staff.
