Mary Wilson, age 87 of Caryville went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 24, 2018. She was a life-long member of Duff Baptist Church. Mary enjoyed singing in church, crocheting, word puzzles, and watching the lady Vols.

She worked 50 years for Winklers Drug store, Globe Drug Store, and Riggs Drug store where she was very devoted to her customers. She is preceded in death by parents Walter and Pernie (Chadwell) Branam; husband Walter Wilson; son James Harold Wilson; daughter Pernie Elizabeth Wilson; brother Walter Branam Jr.; sisters Beulah Walden and Viola Bowlin, sister-in-law Carolyn Branam. She is survived by Daughters Abbie Person & husband William, and Cherry Williamson, both of Caryville; grandson Ty Person of Knoxville; brothers Harold Branam of LaFollette, Ronnie Branam & wife Eugenia of Jacksboro, Keith Branam of Sevierville, sister-in-law Janice Branam of Jacksboro; several nieces, nephews, friends, and a host of relatives.

Visitation will be 5-8 PM Friday, April 27, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 8 PM with Rev. Steve Evans and Rev. Alvis Richardson officiating.

Friends and family will meet 12:00 PM Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to follow in procession to Campbell Memorial Gardens for 1 PM interment. Mary’s nephews will be pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Pat Summit Alzheimer’s Foundation.
