Mary Margaret. Giannone, 65, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019 in her home. She was born September 7, 1953 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Marvin and Marie M. (Schlittler) Hefty.

Mary was a 1971 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School and a graduate of Madison Beauty School, Madison, WI. Mary married Vincent Giannone on September 7, 1974 in Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Mary was formerly employed by Beloit Corporation, Woodward Governor, Beloit Turner School District, Shopko, and Michaels Arts & Crafts, retiring in 2016.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, traveling, shopping with her nieces, and crafting and stamping with her craft friends. Mary was a member of the South Central Janesville Wisconsin Hog Chapter. and St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Vince Giannone of Beloit, WI; sons, Brian Giannone, Jonathan (Barbie) Giannone and Daniel Giannone all of Beloit, WI; grandchildren, Alyssa and Lorenzo; sister, Janice Tremaine of Clinton, WI; brother, Richard Hefty of Beloit, WI; brother-in-law, Joseph Giannone of Beloit, WI; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents. Funeral service for Mary will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2019 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Reverend Dennis Roser officiating.

Visitation of remembrance will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorials may be given in her name to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
