Obituary for Mary Grace “Chub” Osler Mary Grace “Chub” Merendino Osler, 90, of Connellsville passed away unexpectedly Sun. Dec. 2, 2018 in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville.

She was born Dec. 20, 1927 in Connellsville a daughter of the late Frank and Felicia “Edith” D”Agostino Merendino. She was a graduate of Connellsville High School and attended St. Francis School of Nursing in Pittsburgh.

She worked as a Teachers Aid for Intermediate Unit I for over 20 years. She was a member of the Connellsville Partner Parish of St. Rita’s R. C. Church. Mary Grace enjoyed playing cards with her card club and she also enjoyed gardening.

She was known for showing beautiful flowers. Mary Grace will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her son Jeffrey M. Osler of Connellsville, her brothers Frank Merendino and wife Valeria of Connellsville and Anthony “Nino” Merendino and wife Kaye of Connellsville and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Mary Grace was predeceased by her husband Ralph Osler, Sr., her sons Ralph Osler, Jr., Timothy Osler, and David Osler, her sister Antonetta “Nettie” McKlveen, and her brother-in-law Ronald G. McKlveen.

As per Mary Grace’s request there will be no viewing or services. Inurnment will be in St. Rita’s Cemetery beside her late husband. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 111 E. Green St. Connellsville (724-628-1430) www.
