Mary Jane Bone May 05, 1942 – January 30, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card Birmingham Ridge – Mary Jane Bone, 76, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at the Hospice Unit of North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. On May 5, 1942, she was born in Lee County to Cutha Dabbs and Ruby Davis Dabbs. She was married 28 years to Addison Bone who died in 2015.

Earlier in life she lived in Lutz, Florida for a number of years. She later made her home in Perry, Georgia where she worked for Bowen Aircraft prior to becoming a Greeter at Walmart, a job she especially enjoyed. Mary loved to socialize and keep in touch with her family and friends on Facebook.

One of her favorite pastimes was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary’s sweet soul and nurturing spirit will forever be cherished by all who knew her, especially her family. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Faulkner of Tupelo; her son, Mike Roberts and his wife, Lisa of the Palmetto Community; three brothers, Charles Dabbs and his wife, Terri of Tampa, Florida, Bill Dabbs and his wife, Betty Lou of Brandon, Florida and Wayne Dabbs (Lin) of Brandon, Florida; five grandchildren, Chris Lindley and his wife, Ashley of Saltillo, Justin Lindley of Brewer, Tiffany Tubb and her husband, Josh of Saltillo, Jamie Roberts and his wife, Kasey of Conway, Arkansas and Jordan Nguyen and her husband Logan of Starkville; 3 great-grandchildren, Graci Lindley, Madden Tubb and Connor Tubb, all from Saltillo; . She was preceded in death by her husband, Addison Bone; her parents, Cutha and Ruby Dabbs; and her sister, Joanne Hughes. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time at W.E. Pegues, Tupelo.

Services honoring her life will be 12 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Jerry Estes officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 607 Main Street C, Tupelo, MS 38804.
