Mary Jane Hawkins, lifelong resident of Okmulgee passed away in Tulsa Thursday morning, May 2, 2019. Mary Jane was 83 years old. She was born to the late Waid Norris and Maude Nattie (Boudinot) Hawkins on Friday, July 26, 1935 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Mary Jane was a phenomenal seamstress and enjoyed painting. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Thelma Hawkins, Glenn Hawkins, and Calvin Waid Hawkins. A funeral service for Mary Jane will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church in Okmulgee with Reverend Richard Manning officiating.

Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday, May 6, 2019 from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on Mary Jane’s Tribute Page of our website at www.
