Obituary for Mary Jane Stuart Katzenstein Mary Jane Stuart Katzenstein, 89, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018. She was born in Rising Sun, Maryland on July 14, 1928, a daughter of the late Roscoe Hampton and Winifred Pugh Stuart and was the widow of Hans J. Katzenstein. Mrs. Katzenstein worked for over 50 years in lumber and building supplies, much of that time was at Reistertown Lumber Company in Maryland.

She enjoyed gardening and flowers and loved to go shopping. In Kentucky, she attended Perryville Presbyterian Church until her health prevented her from attending. Survivors include her son Richard H. Campbell and his wife, Joy, five grandchildren, Justin S. Campbell, Sara Lynn, Chad Huff, Scott Koenigsberg, Robin Koenigsberg-Grossman, and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Koenigsberg and four siblings, Roscoe H. “June” Stuart, Jr., Thelma Lawson, William “Bill” Stuart and Raymond Stuart. The funeral service in Kentucky will be 6:30 p.m., Monday, April 30, 2018 at Perryville Presbyterian Church with Revs. Pat Chamberlain and Doug Davis officiating.

Visitation will be also Monday at the church from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Honorary bearers will be Grandchildren, Tony Wilder, Harold McKinney, Fannie Biggs, Candace Purdom. Memorial contributions are suggested to Gideon’s International or Perryville Presbyterian Church. Services in Rising Sun, Maryland will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home.
