Mary “Jo Jo” Weddington, 76, of Wintersville, OH, passed away January 12, 2019 at the Laurels of Steubenville. She was born December 6, 1942 in Uhrichsville, OH, a daughter of the late Howard and Bertha (Gowins) Mack. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, John, Robert, and James Mack and sisters, Ruthie Rentsch and Betty Petty.

She was Methodist by faith. Jo Jo was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan. She was a member of the Prime Time Senior Center in Steubenville.

She worked as a waitress at Elby’s and Kings Restaurant. Jo Jo enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and watching movies with her son. Jo Jo is survived by her son, John Weddington of Wintersville, OH; brother, Denny Mack of Augusta, Georgia; sisters, Marlene Monroe of Wintersville, OH and Susie Troxlar of Texas; grandchildren, John Weddington, Jr., Haely Weddington, and Kole Weddington; great grandchildren, Jaxon Weddington, Kaden Weddington, Haisleigh Harris, Haelyi’ Eakle, and Braelyn Rippee; former daughter-in-law, Ginger Weddington; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd. , Wintersville on Wednesday from 4 PM until time of funeral services at 6 PM with Pastor Denny R. Mack, Jr. officiating. Send condolences online at www.
